thinking you can

I'm not a play thing
no... I have an agenda
I make a promise
I keep my word
then again, so must you

go on with this

I need something
you just don't get
take it this way

I'm good, when I want
still you think it's
all about you...
what you think you got
no-way.... this is no
play-thing darlin
it needs to be worked
I know I have so
much more to give
but I need someone
worth the trip
no sleep it off babe
not when I'm around
down time yeah, sometimes
I am not waiting long
this "Miss Thing" has
got to feel it...
you've got to show me
that you got what it takes
you've got to have
ambition, some desire
no self-pity, I need
more than another depressed
man sitting back, letting
me take the lead..
life is too short
to "play it again"
this time I've got
to be worth it all
don't curl up and die
give it your damnest
fight, or let it die
put your tail between
your legs, and walk away~
