Doesn't matter anymore
struggling to please
to beg for some understanding
what matters in this world
can you see the struggles
understand the parallels
think unselfishly, completely?
Each breath I take
belongs to you
though you wash it in death
drown my reasons with your need
can you see beyond this
you cannot buy beautiful things
to cover up this ugly truth
Blame it on what you will
a suicide without a doubt
weakness, addiction, self loafing
call it what you will
you use to understand love
or so I thought...
once in a dream come true
What's the point in dreaming
when it's beat down in a race
to see what survives in the end
a world I couldn't breathe in
where's the future, the love
where's your passion, for us
a love of a lifetime.. to me...
going up in smoke...~
