He walks in silence
by oklahomapoet
He walks in silence, while the night,
with it's stars for his friends
and it's moon for his guide,
And no one else to hear his cries,
consoles him with it's lonesome might.
He walks in silence, tired and beat,
with no coat on his back
and without any sleep.
and not an ounce of food to eat,
he wanders through the empty streets.
He walks in silence With the Moon,
his only companian,
but faithful and true,
Until at last it leaves him too.
The sun arises much to soon.
