Speechless

I wish it was some time ago
when all was quiet then
the noise that's lifted me off ground
is silencing me still
the words don't come easy
anymore it's jumbled sense
to me it has its meaning
to you it's just nonsense
voices bouncing round me
my head is full of sound
my mouth can't get the meaning
to write the feelings out
hear my pleas of pain and grief
without a single word to utter
play the song I wish to dance to
and rid me of my mindless clutter
