Too Late Now

Time wasn't timed right
we came upon this life
fell into a dream
called it a blessing
but where did the years go
when our time came so late
what would we, could we
have done, been, lived
this love is deeper than
all the things we've loved,
it's never gonna be long enough
tell me Lord, why have we
found something we can't live
what reason for now, instead
of years ago, we could have lived,
lit our lives up with happiness
Is it a miracle when it's
so very hard to dream of the future
when there's more behind us
than in front? The ticking is loud
how do we end knowing we never...
Got to live this life.....
